Investing in the diversification of the agribusiness, in 2008, Quilombo started the forestry activity on Perdizes and Nazaré Farms, in the region of Jaraguarí – Mato Grosso do Sul State. In an approximate land area of 4,000 ha, about 5.2 million of eucalyptus seedlings were planted designed for the production of raw material for cellulose industry. Believing in the growth of the sector and in Brazil as an important global player, Quilombo plans to expand its activities in the sector within the next years.
